At Chevron Canada, we utilize our global resources to provide the energy that drives human progress. Coupled with our determination and ingenuity, we are meeting today’s complex energy challenges.
Chevron has been finding, producing and refining crude oil and natural gas and delivering needed energy in Canada for more than 80 years. We operate in Canada through Chevron Canada Resources and Chevron Canada Limited.
Since 1938, Chevron Canada Resources has been exploring for, developing, producing and marketing crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Chevron Canada has interests in oil sands projects and shale gas acreage in Alberta; exploration, development and production projects offshore Newfoundland and Labrador; a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) project and shale acreage in British Columbia; and exploration and discovered resource interests in the Beaufort Sea region of the Northwest Territories.
In 2016, net oil-equivalent production averaged 92,000 barrels per day, composed of 33,000 barrels of crude oil, 55 million cubic feet of natural gas and 50,000 barrels of synthetic oil from oil sands.
Chevron Canada employs approximately 400 people at our offices and project sites across Canada.
