We have exciting career opportunities at our Burnaby Refinery for experienced Process Engineers.
Chevron’s Burnaby Refinery is a modern 55,000 Barrel per day refinery located on Burrard Inlet.  It supplies a significant portion of southwestern BC’s gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel and is part of Chevron’s global network of refineries.

As a member of the Technical Services team supporting the Refinery, you will work to improve the efficiency of existing processes, monitor and plan for additions, turnarounds, repairs, and projects within the plant.  Processes at the Burnaby refinery include crude distillation, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrotreating, isomerization, catalytic reforming, alkylation, sulfur recovery, energy and utilities, waste water treatment, and blending and shipping.

Typical responsibilities will include:

You will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a self starter, an effective problem solver, and have the ability to effectively handle several tasks/projects concurrently in a plant environment efficiently and safely. You will have a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering and 2 or more years experience in a related position in an industrial plant environment. Eligibility for registration with APEGBC is required.
