Used Oil Recycling
Chevron Canada Limited is proud of its record as an industry leader in environmental initiatives. We are committed to minimizing the impact of our operations and products on the environment.
Chevron participates in an industry-driven used oil recycling program for both our retail and commercial customers. This initiative will help to ensure that used oil is being collected, re-refined to meet industry standards, packaged and marketed as a recycled product.
What can you do?
- Used oil collected from vehicles, lawnmowers and other equipment should be stored in a clean, childproof container.
- Do not contaminate the oil with other household or industrial liquids such as solvents, paint thinner or bleaches. Contaminated oil will not be accepted at our depots.
- Return your Chevron oil at no cost to the point of purchase or the nearest depot location.
Where can you go to recycle your used oil? Chevron has numerous designated used oil depots throughout B.C. that will accept your clean used oil. If the Chevron retailer closest to you does not have a depot on site, the retailer will direct you to the closest used oil depot. Commercial customers can ask their Chevron Bulk Plant agent for details on recycling used oil.
